Frau Weiguny veröffentlicht am 20.11.2022 auf Seite 20 der Frankfurter Allgemeinen Zeitung einen Artikel, in dem sie von den Hindernissen – wenn nicht sogar Steinen – berichtet, die der SWEngin auf der Road To Zero Emission in den Weg gelegt werden.

München, 11.09.2023 – Wir präsentieren unter dem Namen MaGG-One (Master-Adaptable-Global-Generator) den weltweit ersten lauffähigen Freikolben-Lineargenerator mit Zentralbrennraum (FKLG-ZBR) in Kompaktbauweise. Der Generator macht eine global bezahlbare und jederzeit verfügbare CO₂-freie und emissionsarme Stromversorgung möglich und stellt so das bisher fehlende Bindeglied für die Einhaltung der weltweiten Klimaziele dar.
Wir freuen uns, ein neues Mitglieder im Team der SWEngin GmbH begrüßen zu dürfen! Markus Rausch sammelte bereits Erfahrungen in der Forschung und Entwicklung des FKLGs – in seiner Abschlussarbeit schrieb er über die Entwicklung eines Kolben-Kühlkonzepts. Mit ihm gewinnt das Forschungsteam in Stuttgart einen weiteren qualifizierten und erfahrenen Ingenieur, der die Technik mit Begeisterung vorantreibt.
Das Interesse am FKLG ist ungebrochen groß: Am Sonntag, den 17.04.2016, erschien ein umfangreicher Artikel über den FKLG und die SWEngin GmbH in der „Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung“. Das Institut für Fahrzeugkonzepte des DLR zündete im Rahmen des Gemeinschaftsprojektes „HOMFREE II“ mit dem FKFS (Forschungsinstitut für Kraftfahrwesen und Fahrzeugmotoren Stuttgart) und der SWEngin GmbH erstmals im Zentralbrennraum des FKLG.
